Design and Print professionals RJDA have installed a 2m Seal 80Pro laminator this month, to compliment their existing print hardware.  The Derbyshire based company has an extensive print and finishing facility.  The latest Seal laminator will ensure finishing for the widest printer hardware they have; currently the HP Designjet LX65500 latex machine.

Rob Walker, MD of RJDA says, “There were a few reasons for buying the Seal 80-Pro, firstly it is a lot faster and more efficient than our current, older one.  However as requirements have increased for two or three metre wide printing on our Latex and Flatbed machines so has finishing and we needed to be able to mount, encapsulate and laminate up to at least 1600mm.

The multitude of features on the 80Pro ticks every box for us and is much more controllable, which is imperative when you are supplying the high standard of work our clients have come to expect from RJDA.”

The Laminator, supplied by large format specialists CWE Solutions, is extremely versatile and features such as the easy in-feed table enable RJDA to handle a wide variety of media quickly efficiently with minimum waste.   Due to the nature of RJDA’s business, print production on a daily basis can incorporate orders of any size and on any type of media, including vehicle wrapping.  Being able to handle substrates like vinyl, backlit, pop-up, roll, rigid indoor and outdoor boards and floor graphics the Seal 80Pro has fitted into the production facility perfectly.
