Onwards, upwards and outwards for British Engineering firm Crushers UK

Crushers UK are the manufacturers of the Hercules 1830, a brand new tracked jaw crusher designed for use within demolition, quarrying and waste recycling.  This month the company announce their move from premises in Leicestershire to a purpose built factory in Tamworth, in the heart of Staffordshire.

The move heralds an exciting new phase for the company following the surge of worldwide interest still coming in since the launch of the Hercules 1830 at the Hillhead Exhibition in June this year.

Greg Shipley, Design Director of Crushers UK explains, “Not only do we need the space for the current demands for production of the Hercules crushing machine, but it will enable us to cope with future expansion and also create a better work environment for the team overall.  It is the perfect platform to drive Crushers UK forward in 2011.”

The factory covers 10,000 sq. ft and is over four times the size of the previous premises.  It houses the latest technology, fully equipped for rapid prototype machining plus a full production site for the manufacture of the Hercules 1830 machines.  The new site will also contain the parts store; Crushers UK provide a round-the-clock parts service to worldwide customers that minimises down-time wherever you are.  The new site is only minutes away from the M42 Motorway and the dedicated demonstration area means visitors can see first hand the quality and production capabilities the Hercules offers.
