Terry Cooper Services unveils the latest single knife trimmer that combines the capacity to double productivity with excellent value for money.

UK distributors of large format finishing and paper handling products, Terry Cooper Services are sole UK agents for the Challenge Machinery range and the new CMT130 already proves a hit with its versatility.  Not only does the trimmer work well as a stand-alone machine but features optional technology such as the multi-book feeder and high capacity stacker.  These provide near-line configuration to keep up with the dynamic digital market.

The CMT 130 keeps up with most single clamp binders on the market trimming 200 books an hour with manual feed and a normal conveyor.  However the multi-book option not only fully automates the in-feed process from time-consuming manual, but can increase the output quantity to up to 500 books an hour.   

Added to this, the CMT also offers a high capacity stacker that gives a vertical press delivery output, keeping spines in tact for a professional finish.  All parts of the process are backed by the exceptional build quality you expect from Challenge for years of trouble free operation, durability and consistent cut.

Standard features include hydraulic clamping and cutting action for book thickness up to 50.8mm, UHMW gib surfaces, composite bushings, stepper motor, self-diagnostic and error indications and 99 job memory storage.
