iiyama play with the big boys at i38

For the first time this year, iiyama were proud to be one of the exhibitors at i38, the 38th of the I-Series events and live gaming tournaments organised by Multiplay.  iiyama showcased the latest range of high specification monitors including the brand new Multi-touch monitor, ideal for the gaming market.

The annual I-Series is the UK’s largest LAN party was hosted this year at the Newbury Racecourse on 13-16th November.  The tournament attracts gamers from all over globe both individual and teams, to play for some amazing prizes.  Plus the exhibition attracts leading manufacturers and therefore enables visitors to sample the latest related technology, hardware and software.

On stand iiyama had a range of 22” and 24” monitors (ProLite E2407HDS, E2208HDS and E2209HDS) where visitors were able to see first hand the quality and features of the brand.  The highlight was undoubtedly the launch of the new ProLite T2250MTS, iiyama’s first multi-touch monitor and full demonstrations were available.

To keep with the theme of the whole event, iiyama hosted an on-stand competition with Colin McCrae Dirt II time trial challenge where the first prize was a 24” ProLite 2407HDS monitor.  Steve Kilroy, UK Key Account Manager for iiyama says, “The exhibition was very successful for us – we received lots of interest and some great feedback from the game teams.  Overall it was a very exciting weekend!”
