New Multi-touch monitor from iiyama arrives in the UK

Taking touch screen technology to a whole new level, monitor manufacturer iiyama have launched their first multi-touch monitor – the ProLite T2250MTS.  This 22” high specification monitor enables a multitude of gestures and actions whilst being fully Windows 7 compliant.

The T2250MTS displays how the latest technology allows you to zoom in and out, scroll, stretch, highlight and rotate on an amazing range of platforms on your PC by using certain tap, flick, grab and pincer gestures.  

Launched in concurrence with Windows 7, iiyama’s multi-touch monitor lets you browse the web, email and draw while working on multiple screens, docking and or typing on the on-screen keyboard.  The T2250MTS monitor is also ideal for gaming applications where multi-touch screen is the perfect partner for the fantastic array of games coming up in 2010.

The Multi-touch monitor is feature packed with true 16:9 High Definition and native resolution of 1920x1080 showing it doesn’t compromise on image quality.  It also combines fast 5ms response time with 1000:1 Contrast Ratio and 270 cd/m2 typical brightness.  Eco-friendly it has 1W max power output in standby mode and connectivity inputs of Analogue and DVI guarantees compatibility with all Apple Mac and PC computers.

All iiyama panels come with 3 years ‘on-site’ Advance Exchange Warranty as standard.

Availability for the T2250MTS will be December 2009 and is excellent value for money with a retail value of £239 ex VAT.
